Ski course youth

"Ski course youth"

For our teens there is much fun and adventure!

Independent decision-making, conduct in open terrain and proper handling of safety gear are taught here, including how to use the avalanche transceiver.
Using many different exercises, each individual's technique is improved. Video analyses are very helpful for this. In addition to freeriding, freestyling and our highlights with various trend sports equipment such as Skifox, Parashoot and Funcarver, the race on the last day of the course gives everyone an opportunity to show off what they've learnt.

Below you will find information on ability levels, start times and meeting points. Please classify yourself according to this information.

FAQ

General questions & answers
No, it is not possible to cancel a course if your child doesn't like it. For small children – the “snow bunnies” – we recommend booking one morning first, and if your child likes it, you can pay the difference for the remaining days. For older children, you can book two days first, then there are extension tickets to keep your risk as low as possible. If it still doesn't work out, we have the option of rebooking your course within the ski school or offsetting it against other family members. If you wish to cancel the course due to illness or injury, this is of course no problem upon presentation of a medical certificate.

Questions & answers about ski courses in Vorarlberg
Group courses, private courses and special courses (e.g. technique training) are common. For many guests, this is the basis for becoming more confident in the ski area – whether you are skiing in Damüls or generally in the Bregenzerwald – Vorarlberg.
Many ski schools offer programmes for children from around 3 years of age, provided they have the basic motor skills and suitable course concepts are in place. It is not only age that is decisive, but also supervision, course duration and break structure.
Typically, participants are divided into groups according to their level, there is a clear daily schedule (meeting point, warm-up, practice sessions, conclusion) and technique and safety are developed step by step. For beginners, the focus is on basic techniques, behaviour on the slopes and controlled skiing.
  • Group course: fixed schedule, learning in a group, often cost-effective
  • Private course: individual goals, targeted corrections, flexible scheduling Both can be useful – depending on whether you want to make rapid, targeted progress or prefer to learn in a group setting.
For a beginner's ski course, basic fitness, suitable equipment and a willingness to learn step by step are usually sufficient. Many beginners start on practice areas before moving on to longer runs.
